Hannah Sauder participates in Goshen College mainstage, "The Boys Next Door"

Hannah Sauder, a junior Communication major from Lititz, PA, participated in Goshen College's spring mainstage production, "The Boys Next Door," on March 20, 22, and 27-29. Hannah attends Neffsville Mennonite Church.

The play focuses on a young social worker, Jack, who is on the brink of a career burnout. He struggles with his sense of purpose in relation to his wards, four developmentally disabled adults who live in a communal residence.

The cast for "The Boys Next Door" included Jesse Bontrager, a sophomore from Goshen; Brett Conrad, a senior from Lakewood, Colorado; Martin Flowers, a junior from Nappanee, Indiana; Ben Ganger, a junior from Goshen; Nick Peebles, a sophomore from Chicago; Angel Reyes, a senior from Goshen; Adrienne Schmucker, a junior from Wauseon, Ohio; A'Sean Street, a first-year from Indianapolis; Morgan Yordy, a first-year from Rochelle, Illinois; and Paul Zehr, a senior from Carthage, New York.

Doug Liechty Caskey, professor of theater, is producer and director of the play. The production team includes Andrew Moeggenborg, assistant professor of theater, technical director and set designer; Sandy Slabaugh, production assistant; Clara Beck, house manager; Brett Conrad, master carpenter; Ben Ganger, master electrician; Melanie Hertzler, stage manager; Sara Lake-Rayburn, costume designer; Ally Medellin, hair and make-up designer; Peter Meyer-Reimer, props designer; Kolton Nay, dramaturgy; Kasey Prentice, light board operator and set construction; Austin Reith, sound board operator; Hannah Sauder, hair and make-up designer; Mary Seeck, assistant costume designer; A'Sean Street, assistant stage manager; Riley Woods, light designer; Jacob Zehr, sound designer; and Paul Zehr, assistant technical director.
